In Italian, La Rocca Rossa means the red rock, and the walls of our building embody that literally, built from the same rock around Morrison that make up the structure of Red Rocks Amphitheater. Starting with that local character, we are creating a new kind of Colorado fare that integrates the traditions of Italy and Southern Europe through herbs, dishes, and cooking techniques.

Meet the Team

La Rocca Rossa is owned and operated by Tiffani Packer and Chef Rand G. Packer, who have deep experience as restaurateurs in the Front Range. They’ve created innovative cafes and restaurants including Evoke 1923, Murphy’s Mountain Grill, Muddy Buck Coffee House, Kiki’s, and Mekenita Cantina.

Nestled in the heart of Morrison, just minutes from Red Rocks, La Rocca Rossa is the perfect setting for dinner after a hike or before a show. We’re open for dinner Wednesday through Monday. Reservations recommended on weekends.

Patti’s strong personal and professional values—growth, learning, and family—make her a valued member of both her team and the broader community.

Ryan Fara

General Manager

Ryan’s journey in hospitality began early, growing up around the restaurant where his mom worked as a fine dining server in New Orleans. He officially entered the industry at 19 and has since held nearly every position — from washing dishes to leading restaurant teams to success.

Ryan continues to learn from mentors and strives to create an exceptional guest experience every day. Though his family outshines him in the kitchen, Ryan’s natural inclination to serve and connect with others has made hospitality second nature.

With a background in probability and statistics, he balances heart and numbers — especially in fantasy football! On weekends, he enjoys hiking with his wife and Doberman and is always up for a paintball match. Ryan has stayed connected with the family who owned the first restaurant he worked in, a reminder of where it all began.
